Welcome to the Media Center in support of Soraya: A Life of Music, a Legacy of Hope.
We invite you to share her story with the help of these materials. Soraya, a young Latin pop star
stricken with advanced breast cancer, turned the spotlight away from herself and onto the issue
of Latinas and African Americans (underserved women) who have higher breast cancer mortality rates.
She championed that cause so valiantly, and yet the barriers affecting underserved women
have not yet been fully explored by the press.

Please click on the boxes below for instant access to news releases, Soraya’s biography,
and helpful breast cancer facts. You can also download high resolution photographs
and video to support your editorial materials. If you need people to interview
or to perform her songs, please contact us directly.
